Personally I think it partly negates the usefulness of it, if all your efforts are going to be lost as soon as you close the character file.īut I don't think Adobe removing the nude models is going to stop 7-12 year olds from seeing nudity somehow.īesides that, none of their previous nude models actually had any genitals to begin with, so they had more in common with a mannequin than a real person in physical terms. I stretched the legs of a pair of pants down that were a fraction too short, to close the gap to the top of the boots and saved it, but they reset back to their original length when I re-open the file later. Yeah but did you know that the extra clothing from Sharecg that Mixamo recommend for their Fuse 1.3 characters, can't be used in Fuse CC because of some very major clipping problems.Īnother thing that bugged me is the "new" feature that lets you make small adjustments to the meshes, not being kept when you save them to a character. WARNING: After this it seems to crash when using new content. preferences-> App options -> untick modest mode Recommend to take BU of database (4GB)įor nude. Now there are export for only texture and you can select Unity 5 with (PBR)Ĭopy database seems to work for old models (don't copy substance files). Will they release removed content with full release or adult addon I don't know but I hope.Īt this point I think I will stay using my old flow. I think worst is them removing some good gamedev clothes from library and female zombie.

I think work around is to replace textures in CC or redo simplified model in 1.3 and export to obj and use these skin textures in game engine. There were few nice updates but censoring content wasn't nice.

If I had stick with just one version, then right now for female characters it would be Steam's version, because I like working with a blank canvas and not be given one that Adobe has already painted on. (A few new texture and clothing parts have been included.) You can however import a few of the new Cloth folders to the Steam Fuse library, but Fuse CC Preview is a lot lighter in content that Steam Fuse, with most of that content copied directly from Fuse's original content. The character below in the link was made in Steam Fuse, and I didn't need a bra getting in the way.Īnother sticking point for me is the fact one of the older Fuse 1.3 ".fuse" character files, are incompatible with Adobe's new version, nor will the new Adobe Fuse files open in Steam's version. They have fixed the hat hair clipping and you can now manually make adjustments to the meshes, which is fantastic, but.Ī big let-down is the fact that all of the nudes (and the bikinis) were omitted and replaced with models with uneditable biege underwear on. I've just spent a few hours playing Adobe's Fuse CC Preview, and I'm a bit disappointed in it.
